Once you do that, the next time you start OpenSong, you should see those Bibles listed and it will ask you to generate indexes the first time you select them in Scripture Picker. The easiest work around to get the ESV and NIV installed is to find where you downloaded the files and unzipped them (sounds like you have already), then manually move them using Explorer or your favorite file tool into C:\Program Files (x86)\OpenSong\OpenSong Scripture We will have to address that at some point by moving where we store OpenSong's files. Many of the newer Bibles are in Zephania or the extended OpenSong Bible format. The biggest one is that it only recognizes files that are in the original OpenSong Bible format. There are a few minor bugs in OpenSong in the Install Module code. Hopefully the Bible modules can just install and I won't need to do work-arounds. I could go back and change it after the meeting, but it seems like a bad idea to start off using so many non-standard methods, it would be easier at that point to go back to powerpoint, just pasting in slides from the master copy to one that I format as I like each week. (I tried NIV too since it's a pretty widely spread modern version, just to see if we could get something more modern in addition to KJV.) I thought of changing the background on the songs I picked for this week, in the Songs view, to the basic background I want, and then changing the presentation default to the one I want for the "custom" scripture, but that would mess with the songs for all future playback - if we want to set the default background for songs to something different, and then use one of this week's songs in a set, it will come out with this old set background (can you follow that?). Some people in our group use KJV, but the leader uses ESV.

It's a small thing, I can always type up or paste in verses, but I can't get the background I like since they go in as "custom" instead of "scripture," plus it would just be nice to have it installed. Please verify that you have access to 'C:\Program Files (x86)\OpenSong\OpenSong Scripture.' (102)" If I add the extension manually, it can then see them but installation fails. If I try to add them using Settings > Install Module, it won't even "see" them since they aren't. xmm file, but the ESV and NIV both come out without file extensions.
